WCCC Golf Competes at UMA Invitational

Litchfield, ME – Saturday, September 20, 2025

 

The Washington County Community College (WCCC) golf team was back in action this past weekend at the University of Maine Augusta Invitational, held at The Meadows Golf Club in Litchfield. With clear skies and challenging greens, the course provided a true test for all competitors.

 

Freshman Calvin Hale led the way for WCCC, finishing in 23rd place with a solid round that showed consistency and competitive edge. Kaiden Webster followed up with a strong effort of his own, placing 34th, and continuing to grow in confidence and execution on the course.

 

"I'm proud of the way our guys competed," said Head Coach James Blase. "They're working hard, gaining experience, and representing WCCC the right way. Each tournament is a step forward."
