Bio

Seth Martin brings an extensive amount of basketball knowledge. A former school state champion at Zanesville high school as well as an All-state performer, Seth went on to Play at Div 1 Ohio University followed by transferring to California University of Pennsylvania where he was a three time All- American and played for legendary Coach Bill Brown.

Seth, after having to retire early from playing overseas, got right into College Coaching. Seth coached in the PSAC at Shippensburg University and Slippery Rock University. Seth them moved back to Zanesville Ohio and Coached for two years at Muskingum University. Seth then went on to be a head high school coach for the next 14 years. After that he was appointed head women’s basketball coach at Hocking College where he led them to the most wins in school history and was named conference coach of the year.

Seth did a year as a High school AD/Assistant principal and then decided it was time to go back to the ranks where he was most happy. He has recently been appointed as the AD/Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Washington County Community College and is in his first year here.

Seth was inducted into the district 12 Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame Class in 2012, in the California University of Pennsylvania Athletic Hall of Fame Class in 2013 and into the Zanesville High School Hall of Fame class of 2015.

Seth is married to Amanda Martin and they have two Children, Mia-19 and Keynen (Bean)-17.
